We read the news today on Twitter, but the real reason for the ban remains unclear. Maybe it’s because the game has a room where the Beatles sit in chairs around Winston Churchill, paying tribute to an infamous Paul McCartney circlejerk anecdote that every generation seems to discover in their own time. But it’s probably something else — the earlier bans of similar games, such as “Cart Ride into 17 Pregnant Hyenas,” suggest a possible antinatalist sentiment within Roblox Corporation.
Smash Bros. finally includes “everyone”
The team behind a giant Super Smash Bros. N64 mod released a 15-minute trailer showing off the addition of Crash Bandicoot, Sonic, Goemon, “Dr. Luigi,” a million other characters, stages where you play basketball, optional parry mechanics, the original Smash announcer, and a follow-up to a Joel Haver video. It seems to come from an alternate universe where Nintendo doesn’t sue fan projects into oblivion.
